New website in Turkish
“Turkey continues to show signs of economic expansion and it is one of the priority markets in the Mediterranean area,” according to Confindustria. In the words of the Italian Federation of National Associations in the Mechanical and Engineering Industries (ANIMA), “despite the stagnation in the domestic market caused by the impact of the slump in the construction industry, in 2013 there was a 2% increase in exports to the traditional markets of France, Germany, the UK and the USA, which have been joined by new markets outside the EU, such as China, Saudi Arabia and Russia. Altogether, they absorb 60% of the total output. In 2014, there will be a small additional increase in exports of 0.6%.”
It is an interesting territory and being there is no longer just a possibility: it is now a genuine business opportunity. In May 2014, we announced the launch of a joint venture in Turkey. This year we can reveal that a Turkish language website especially for the national market is now online. Visitors to the site can also browse the product catalogue and the associated technical documents.
