1961 - Francesco Caleffi and the early years
Gozzano, a tiny village south of Lake Orta is where Francesco Caleffi's industrial dream took shape.
The first components with the Caleffi trademark became popular on the market and the rest is history.

1975 - The plant relocates and is enlarged
The rapid development of the first decade makes it necessary to relocate all the production phases to the new plants in Fontaneto d'Agogna. Our general headquarters, which we have renamed CALEFFI 1, is still here.
The Nineteen-Eighties
We continued to grow and the strength of the brand and our experience with constructors (OEM) supported our project to export to foreign markets. The first sales offices Caleffi d'Oltralpe were founded outside Italy.
1996 - Opening of the plastic materials plant
Our strategic choice has always been to integrate all our production processes. We believe that the control of every phase guarantees all-round top quality.
Our acquisition of Netcam, now CALEFFI 2, enabled us to manage one of the initial processing stages internally: the creation of the moulds and customisation of the machinery.
Our new base in Gattico-Veruno, on the other hand, is entirely devoted to processing plastic and technopolymer components and has now become our CALEFFI 3.
2000 - The drive towards internationalisation
After the eighties and nineties, during which we established our first European branches, the Noughties saw the company thrust forward to new frontiers with the opening of new, non-European branches. A fresh impetus that continues today.
2008-2009 - Inauguration of CUBOROSSO and MAV
Our investment in Research and Development can be seen in our CUBOROSSO, the visible link between tradition and innovation and the beating heart of our company: this is where our ideas take shape.
Our Automatic Vertical Warehouse (MAV) enables us to improve our customer service by optimising logistics and reducing possible errors by our operators.
2021 - 60 years of Flowing Expertise
We have been continually on the move since 1961. We continuously strive to increase our expertise and invest in improving our processes, always aiming for the perfect flow.
Our approach is projected on a sustainable model, so our actions and vision unlock our potential and we are able to keep our finger on the pulse.
2024 - New expansions
In recent years, many overseas branches have been renovated or enlarged. The CALEFFI 3 plant has also expanded and the project for new interventions and expansions to our general headquarters at CALEFFI 1 has already been approved.
This is also how we are able to flow towards ever new horizons.
We are at the helm of the multinational group that bears our name.
