Home Improvements Usher in Excellence Winning Entry

Darryl Saunders of The Hydronics Team (Toronto, Ont.) was tasked with designing and installing a heating system to provide radiant in-floor heating for multiple zones and domestic hot water in a major home renovation.  A Caleffi ThermoCon™ storage tank was used to prevent boiler short cycling in the highly zoned system. Saunders was elated when his design won the February winning entry in the Caleffi Excellence contest and he advanced as a finalist in the contest.

His winning entry was determined by most audience votes received during a recently held Coffee with Caleffi™ webinar.  Saunders was presented with an iPad™ mini by Nichole Wall (Equipco Ltd.).  Saunders is now a contender for the grand prize:   a trip to our global headquarters in Italy.  After 12 months, the grand prize winner will be chosen from the 12 monthly winners by a panel of industry experts and Caleffi executives.
