Dynamic radiator valve DYNAMICAL®
Caleffi new DYNAMICAL® dynamic radiator valve combines three components (thermostatic valve, pre-regulation valve and differential pressure control valve) to fully control radiator heating power. The valve also limits energy wastage and prevents the operating noise typical of variable flow systems.
The unit has a special valve head which gives it a compact footprint, very similar to that of conventional thermostatic valves, in both the straight and right angle versions.
HOW DOES THE CALEFFI DYNAMICAL® WORK?
The differential pressure regulator, which is housed inside the valve head, keeps the ΔP of the pre-regulation and thermostatic valves at a constant value; this is possible thanks to the pressure test connections machined directly into the internal element, which enable the membrane to regulate the position of the obturator in response to its continually changing operating conditions.
By keeping the ΔP constant, the internal pre-regulation valve is able to limit the maximum flow to six pre-calibrated values, thus effectively balancing the flow to the various radiators on the circuit in a simple and intuitive manner, using the provided wrench and graduated scale on the valve head.
The thermostatic valve can also operate at constant ΔP, thus ensuring proper modulation of the flow rate in response to changes in room temperature, while also preventing the valve from operating noisily.
