The system can be divided into 4 zones:
Geothermal probe circuit zone
This zone is essentially composed of:
- Geothermal probes of the 2-pipe type
- Distribution manifold for geothermal probes with devices for shut-off and balancing of the individual probes
- High efficiency circulation pump
- Control, expansion and safety equipment
- Thermal medium deaerator/dirt separator
The circuit must be filled with water and any necessary additives (antifreeze, protective and anti-algae products) in relation to the specific characteristics of the water used and the requirements of the system.
Water/water heat pump zone
It essentially consists of 1 water/water type heat pump, and is fitted with the following components:
- Control, expansion and safety equipment
- High efficiency circulation pump for heating/cooling system
- High efficiency circulation pump for domestic hot water production system
- Summer/winter mode selector
- Charging unit
System zone
This zone essentially consists of:
- Regulating units for panels, by-pass type, and primary medium distribution kits for radiators
- Heat emitters: radiant panels, radiators and fan-coils
- Dehumidification array
Winter or summer operating mode is activated using the relevant heat pump selector.
Domestic hot water production and distribution zone
Domestic hot water production takes place in the relevant storage tank with heating medium sent directly from the heat pump.
The anticipated distribution system does not feature recirculation and is equipped with a thermostatic mixing valve.
Plus, in the case of high water hardness values or if so required by current legislation or by the boiler manufacturer, a specific water treatment system must be installed.

The system must be created in observance of any relevant regulations and specifications.
