The system can be divided into 3 zones:
Boiler zone
The part of the system dedicated to the boiler consists of:
· Floor-standing boiler for heating and domestic hot water production
· Water treatment devices (dirt separator and deaerator) for the protection of generators and, more generally, all closed system components
· Three-way diverter valve with DHW priority
· Filling and disconnection unit
Heating system zone
Main components and appliances:
· Separator manifold (SEPCOLL) with 2 outlets
· Direct supply units
· Radiant panels and radiators
· Room chrono-thermostat
The boiler temperature must undergo set point temperature regulation.
The secondary circuit consists of a separator manifold (SEPCOLL) and two direct supply units; these units supply the respective thermostatic regulating units for radiant panel systems complete with by-pass and high temperature distribution kits for towel warmers.
Domestic hot water production and distribution zone
Domestic hot water production is obtained using a specific production and storage tank.
Domestic hot water production with storage is managed by controlling the three-way valve with priority over the domestic hot water circuit. The domestic hot water distribution system is complete with recirculation, a thermostatic mixing valve and special check valves.
Plus, in the case of high water hardness values or if so required by current legislation or by the boiler manufacturer, a specific water treatment system must be installed.
Note: The control, expansion and safety equipment must be sized according to the heating capacity and specific characteristics of the system, in compliance with current legislation. The electrical connections must be assessed in liaison with the relevant organisations to guarantee observance of operational and regulatory requirements.
