I have a system that is a combined domestic hot water/hydronic (aquatherm fan coil) piping system. The building HW circulates through a combined set of boilers/water tanks and a 3-way valve splits the DHW in the building with the Hydronic hot water.

Will this 1/2" NA502640A be adequate to install before the hydronic HWS pumps? My goal is to protect the hydronic loop fan coil units and pumps. Would you recommend each fan coil HW branch get one of these as well or should I consider just one at the top of each riser?

This is a unique project with unique concerns. Just trying to protect equipment.
