This application allows for sizing and making calculations for pipes and conduits carrying water or air, respectively for hydraulic or aeraulic plants.

Faq - Frequent questions

The Caleffi Aquastop system is a special solution that we have been using since the 1980s, intended for all types of elements responsible for air removal in heating and cooling installations. This system protects against uncontrolled leakage in the event of damage to the air removal elements.

The principle of operation is based on the use of cellulose disks, which increase their volume under the influence of water, thus closing the air outlet, which also prevents water leakage.

Despite special solutions protecting it against contamination, the automatic vent valve for Caleffi Aercal radiators also has the Caleffi Aquastop system as standard. Our company's engineers recognized the Caleffi Aercal air vent as an element extremely exposed to contamination, hence the additional system intended to protect, above all, the user. It should be remembered that this type of air vents are installed on radiators in residential rooms, where a possible water leak could cause significant damage. The compact Caleffi DiscalSlim air separator, which is intended for installation directly under gas boilers, most often located in living rooms (i.e. kitchens), is additionally equipped with the Caleffi Aquastop system to protect the user and his property in the event of damage. Automatic air vents from the Caleffi Minical/Valcal series may be available with a factory-installed Caleffi Aquastop system. These types of air vents are intended for installation in places with limited access where periodic inspection is not possible.
