System with wall-mounted boiler and internal instantaneous domestic hot water production (2 heating levels)

The system can be divided into 3 zones:....

Boiler zone

The part of the system dedicated to the boiler consists of:

This zone essentially consists of a wall-mounted boiler with internal instantaneous domestic hot water production, fitted with the following components:

·       Wall-mounted boiler for heating and instantaneous domestic hot water production

·       Water treatment devices (dirt separator and deaerator) for the protection of generators and, more generally, all closed system components

·       Separator manifold (SEPCOLL), consisting of 2 outlets

·       Distribution and thermostatic regulating unit for low temperature room heating

Heating system zone

The main components in the distribution part are:

·       Distribution manifold for radiant panel system and towel warmers

·       Room chrono-thermostat

The system is suitable for residential systems with two zones dedicated to room heating and instantaneous production of hot water.

Each zone is thermally independent, thanks to the application of the separator manifold (SEPCOLL) in conjunction with thermostatic distribution units and the chrono-thermostats (capable of controlling not only the temperature within the rooms, but also the time bands in which the heating is on). The chrono-thermostat serving the radiant floor system can actually directly control the distribution unit.

In order to control the boiler as well, make sure the relevant connections have been performed and consider using an auxiliary relay if required.

The radiators, on the other hand, are controlled with thermostatic or thermo-electric regulating valves.

This configuration allows both the boiler and the terminal elements (radiant panels and towel warmers) to run as efficiently as possible (in terms of both flow rate and temperature).

Domestic hot water distribution

The anticipated distribution system does not offer recirculation and has direct connections to the boiler. If water distribution with recirculation is required, it is wise to use boilers with a specific internal kit.
In the case of high water hardness values or if so required by current legislation or by the boiler manufacturer, a specific water treatment system must be installed.

Note: The control, expansion and safety equipment must be sized according to the heating capacity and specific characteristics of the system, in compliance with current legislation. The electrical connections must be assessed in liaison with the relevant organisations to guarantee observance of operational and regulatory requirements.
