Description of 45.50 Caleffi BIM Scheme 

Fan coil system with modulating ambient regulation and dynamic balancing on each single terminal. In this type of system the flow rate is continuously variable according to the load conditions in each environment. It is therefore appropriate to perform a dynamic balancing by the installation of PICV valves; these devices are able to automatically balance the hydraulic circuit and also to function as regulating valves, ensuring the design flow rate to each terminal. Even in the case of partial closure of the circuit, the flow rates on the open circuits remain constant at the nominal value.
