Caleffi is proud to be a Gold Sponsor of PM Live's Symposium event co-located with AHR 2016. The one-day event features John Siegenthaler in the morning discussing Hydronic Heat Pump Systems and followed by Dan Holohan reminicsing on What Hydronics Has Taught Holohan in the afternoon. Note that you may register for either session... or both! Here's a look at the course highlights:
Hydronic Heat Pump Systems
Several types of heat pumps can be used with hydronic heating and cooling distribution systems. These include water-to-water heat pumps supplied by geothermal sources, as well as air-to-water units. The session will discuss the latest applications and hydronic design details that allow these heat pumps to operate at peak efficiency in space heating and cooling applications, as well as in combisystems that also supply domestic hot water. You'll learn the latest control details, how to integrate thermal storage, and even how to provide for radiant cooling. This knowledge will help you design systems that can supply the thermal requirements of net zero buildings, while also delivering superior comfort.
What Hydronics Has Taught Holohan
Dan has written 17 books and hundreds of magazine articles. He knows that the best way to share ideas is through stories. It makes learning both fun and painless. Dan will recount the places he’s been, the people he’s met, the crazy things that have happened on jobs, how Hydronics has changed (and not changed) along the way, and what Hydronics has taught him. This is Dan’s very last presentation. You don't want to miss this one!
