Accurate and reliable water pressure in a high-rise building requires a comprehensive design. New to the series, David Shafir of Victaulic Bermad Technologies (VBT) joins us to share his engineering expertise as he discusses pressure control strategies for these complex buildings.

You'll learn:

→ What are the challenges in water supply to high-rise buildings?

→ How is pressure distributed in tall buildings?

→ Potable water considerations

→ Fire Protection concerns

→ How to avoid noise and valve damage

→ Managing pressure reduction stages

→ How to avoid problems in applying pressure reducing valves

Shafir is an application engineer at VBT, a manufacturer of hydraulic control valves and flow meters.  He provides technical support in design installation and operation of control valves for the building and construction sector with emphasis on water distribution in high rise buildings. He has B.Sc. in Water Industry Engineering and 6 years' experience at VBT. Shafir is eager to share his expertise about water and water pressure distribution to our audience.
