Distribution with T-tap with recirculation to the group with general interceptions or to the column

This diagram represents a configuration suitable for residential buildings with multiple dwellings, where the interception of individual utilities is not required. The network is designed to optimise plant simplicity and reduce costs, while maintaining advanced features for efficiency and hygiene.

The production of domestic hot water (DHW) takes place in the technical centre, through a storage boiler, powered by a generator (e.g. boiler) and an electronic mixing valve (EMV), which allows precise control of the delivery temperature and automatic management of the programmed thermal disinfection phases.

The distribution of domestic hot and cold water is T-type, with direct branches from the uprights to the points of use.
Utilities are served through distribution groups with general interception, but without specific adjustments for each terminal.

This solution reduces the number of installed components and is suitable in plants where it is not necessary to isolate individual lines.

DHW recirculation can be carried out in two ways, depending on the system layout:

●      Recirculation at the top of the upright column, when the horizontal distances are contained

●      Direct recirculation to the group with general interceptions, when there is a greater distance between the picking point and the column

In both cases, the return pipe allows hot water to be kept near the terminals, reducing waiting times.

Thermal balancing

To ensure a correct balance of the system, the following are provided:

●      Thermostatic regulators installed at the base of the upright columns

●      Balancing the flow in the recirculation circuits, even during disinfection

This configuration is critical to ensure flow continuity, avoid cooling, and ensure temperature uniformity across all levels of the building.

Thermal disinfection

The system is designed for automatic disinfection of the system activated by means of an electronic mixer compatible with distribution groups equipped with a recirculation connection. The flow of disinfectant hot water reaches the distribution end points, ensuring the hygiene of the entire network.
