1961 - 2021 CALEFFI S.p.A. celebrates its 60th anniversary
Our wealth of experience and the great enthusiasm of young talented people will continue to play a key role in our flow into the future
In 1961, Francesco Caleffi, a stubborn and visionary entrepreneur, founded Caleffi, a small company supplying brass and steel components for the taps, fittings and valves industry. Sixty years have gone by and, today, Caleffi S.p.A., which has more than 1,300 employees, 10 production plants in Italy and about 20 sales offices worldwide, has grown into a group operating in more than 90 countries. Its core values, which have been handed down over the years, have always remained the same: work, commitment, research, development, love for the local area, attention to detail and Italianness. These are the foundations on which we continue to build the Caleffi of the future.
We are proud to celebrate such an important anniversary, and the fact that we have achieved this milestone is also because we are in constant dialogue with our customers and suppliers.
Throughout all these years, we have acquired our flowing expertise, a flow of skills, technology, experience and innovations that has allowed us to become a benchmark manufacturer of components for hydraulic heating and domestic water systems. For us, as for our founder, selling means guiding our customers when it comes to making technical choices, anticipating their needs and finding the best solutions we can offer them.
In the last 60 years, we have gone through eras, trends and events, but this last year has certainly been the most challenging one for everyone. We tried to make a difference locally since we have a strong connection with the local area. For us, ensuring excellence also means focusing on the local community, promoting social responsibility and respect for human capital. We hope that we have acted as a driving force for other selfless efforts, since the best results can only be achieved by working together.
Our greatest wish is to be able to continue to do business as usual in our market by leveraging the solidity, maturity, reliability and knowledge that we have gained in these first 60 years. All this with the same desire to accomplish that Francesco Caleffi taught us and that his son Marco, who now leads the group, continues to instil in us.
