Components for domestic water system

Pressure reducing valves are devices which, when installed on a private plumbing system, reduce and stabilise the inlet pressure from the water mains. This inlet pressure, in general, is too high and variable for domestic systems to operate correctly.

The thermostatic mixing valve is used in systems that produce domestic hot water. Its function is to maintain the temperature of the mixed water supplied to the user constant at the set value despite variations in the hot and cold water supply conditions at the inlet.

The electronic mixing valve is used in centralised systems that produce and distribute hot water for domestic use. This particular series of electronic mixing valves is equipped with a specific regulator that controls a set of thermal disinfection programs for the circuit to combat Legionella.

The thermostatic regulator is used for automatic balancing of recirculation circuits in domestic hot water distribution systems, so as to ensure that all parts of the system reach the required temperature.

Distribution manifolds are used to control and distribute the medium in domestic water circuits. They are supplied already assembled in a plastic inspection box to facilitate positioning and installation.

Filtration is a physical-mechanical process in which a moving liquid separates from the solid particles dispersed in it due to the fact they are captured by a porous filtering strainer through which the liquid passes. The strainer retains all the particles larger than the diameter of the filter mesh at the first passage.

Safety units are used to protect hot water storage heaters in domestic water systems.

The TP safety relief valve controls and limits the temperature and pressure of the hot water contained in a domestic hot water storage unit and prevents it from being able to reach temperatures of over 100 °C, with the formation of water vapour.

The anti-pollution check valve is a protective plumbing device capable of preventing the backflow of polluted water into the mains system. This may occur due to changes in pressure in the distribution network that cause water to flow backwards. The check valve, which is fitted between the main water system and the user system in water distribution solutions, prevents any contact between the water in the two systems, as it closes automatically whenever backflow conditions occur.
