Shop Talk Showdown with Bob "Hot Rod" Rohr

EPISODE 4:  PRVs in SLC. The Sheriff Goes West.
Monday, April 26
6:30-7:30 pm CDT

There is a new sheriff in town!  Bob “Hot Rod” Rohr is back in the saddle for this 2021 edition of Shop Talk.   We've partnered up with Mechanical Hub to offer you a real good time.

Under pressure? It's time to pull in your horns and join us for Episode 4! Hot Rod will gallop our audience through the innards of a pressure reducing valve. We'll have two mighty fine GIVE-AWAYS from KNIPEX®:  a 3-piece set with Alligator Pliers and a 3-piece Pliers Wrench set for TWO ace-high members of our audience. You heard right now.  Yee-haw!

We reckon there'll be a showdown. Sheriff Hot Rod will moderate a spirited debate between Cody Mack and Max Rohr as they tussle over whether one should leave an AutoFill valve ON... or OFF.

No need to scratch your head, because Hot Rod will help you make cow sense about:
→ Proper sizing. Hole up there partner... it’s not about pipe size!
→ Fall off a horse. Fall off pressure. By gum, it's a similar concept.
→ Adjusting. Servicing.
→ Getting wet. Watch this flow demo.

Don't know "Hot Rod"? Recently recognized with the 2020-2022 Carlson-Holohan Industry Award of Excellence, he effortlessly shares his 35+ years' of experience as a contractor and currently serves as a training and education manager at Caleffi. Cody Mack and Max Rohr are also Education and Training Managers at Caleffi.  Both with nearly 20 years of experience in the field, distribution and manufacturing worlds.  Cody describes himself as a "jack of all trades, master of few."  Max describes himself as a "thermostat nerd."
