Valve selection
The valve selection should be made according to the Kv value (corresponding to a specific DN body size) and not only according to the threaded connections. Given the system flow rate, the corresponding head losses on the valve should be calculated by using the Kv value. The sum of the head losses on the valve and the head losses of the rest of the system should be compatible with the available head of the generator pump.
Items 1'' - DN 20 and 3/4'' - DN 20 have the same kv value.

Faq - Frequent questions
How can we counteract condensation?
In the case of boilers, 'cold zones' must be eliminated, i.e. the temperature of the boiler's internal surfaces must be kept relatively high. To this end, the temperature of the return water from the system must be sufficiently high.
One way to do this is to use anti-condensation thermostatic valves from the 280 series or a pump unit from the 281 series.
Why is condensation dangerous?
Water vapour condenses on the boiler components together with soot and some hydrocarbons in the flue gas, leading to the formation of deposits and tar. These substances adhere to the inner walls of the boiler. The deposits are flammable and, in addition, reduce the efficiency of heat transfer and can lead to accelerated corrosion of the boiler components.
Where does condensation in boilers come from?
Wood and its derivatives contain a variable percentage of moisture depending on the method (pellets, wood chips, etc.) and the duration of storage. Water vapour is released when drying in the combustion chamber. The presence of 'cold zones' in the boiler or chimney can lower the flue gas temperature below the dew point, causing condensation.
