Caleffi is excited about its very successful showing at the 2008 International AHR Expo, held at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center from January 22nd through 24th. Billed as the world’s largest HVAC&R marketplace, the annual exposition attracts manufacturers, engineers, contractors and wholesalers from North America and around the globe to see the latest technological innovations and products. This year, visitor and exhibitor attendance reached nearly 60,000, with 132 countries represented.
Multiple Caleffi North America representatives staffed an island booth, allowing customers to see, touch and learn about Caleffi’s hydronic and solar offerings. Caleffi Italy’s chief executive officer, Marco Caleffi, along with other representatives from the company’s Italian headquarters, were also on hand to educate customers about the company’s products. “We had a very good showing of specifying engineers, wholesalers and contractors,” said Rex Gillespie, Caleffi’s director of marketing. “Our new solar components, hydraulic separators and zone valves received particularly high interest.” Gillespie credits the company’s New York City sales agent, Rathe Associates, for doing a great job promoting Caleffi in the New York City area.
